offering 3 (three) ways you can still provide your feedback and suggestions:
1. Complete the short survey found at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JM9B5M3.
We would appreciate surveys be completed by June 5, 2014.
2. Review the attached document called “2014 Strategic Plan SWOT Template”.
This is a working document that illustrates some examples of strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats. They are NOT intended to suggest
these are real examples – it is a working paper for you to jot your thoughts
down; You may return it to me at [email protected]
3. During the meeting, we will be sending “tweets” to our Twitter followers for input
from our membership who could not attend in person. So, if you would like to
participate, no matter where you are, be sure to follow us on Twitter
at http://twitter.com/CanadaAN
During our meeting, in order for ANAC to establish our new goals, we need to do what is
called a Situational Analysis – many of you will know it as a SWOT Analysis, (Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).
Then, once that is mostly concluded, each member will be asked to prioritize what they
perceive to be the most important goals.
Attached are two documents:
1. 2014 Strategic Plan SWOT template As mentioned above, this is a working
document that illustrates some examples of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities
and threats. They are NOT intended to suggest these are real examples – it is
a working paper for you to jot your thoughts down;
2. 2012 Strategic Plan – the most recent Plan for those who would like to refer to it.
This is an exciting opportunity for us to reconnect and once again establish what is
required so we can continue our Mission: To provide information and support to
individuals with acoustic neuromas and their families.
Many thanks and best regards,
Lyna Newman
